I’m Andrew Nunn, the Dean of Southwark. Every ten years in ministry we have the opportunity to have a three month sabbatical.  My last sabbatical was in 2006 and this year I have the opportunity to spend three months doing something different from the usual routine at Southwark Cathedral. That is a real blessing and I realise how fortunate I am to have this gift of time. This blog is my way of sharing a bit of that.  It’s a bit arrogant to think that anybody might be interested in what I’m doing whilst not at the Cathedral – but just in case anyone is I will be adding to this blog over the next three months.  However, I suppose it’s basically for myself, a kind of journal, a way of getting my sabbatical thoughts together. You’re welcome to share the blessing and the time with me.
